We’re seeking a responsible and dependable individual to post charges and obtain Precerts/Pre-auths. You will also be back up on the phones and crossed trained for check in/out medical office clerk duties. Must be a multi-tasker, have knowledge of ICD-10, CPT coding and charge posting, and also previously have had medical office experience. Previous MDI and Practice plus software experience a plus

Primary skills, responsibilities:

· · Medical charge posting

· Call insurances/obtain referrals/auths

· Medical records

· Check in and check out (back up)

· Schedule appointments (back up)

· Copay assistance for high dollar injectables

· Knowledge of basic computer skills

· Experience in Excel/Word programs

· Experience using office equipment. Ex: fax, printer, scanners, etc.

· Good math and typing skills

· Exercises good judgment and discretion

· Good verbal/written communication skills

· Good telephone/patient-relation skills

· Detail-oriented/ability to prioritize work

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
